Message from the Chairs:
As Co-Chairs of the Georgetown University College Democrats, we want to take a moment to reflect on the tremendous challenges our community will face under the Trump administration. Over the past few months, we've seen the rights of marginalized communities — people of color, immigrants, the LGBTQ+ community, women, and so many others — come under attack.
But through every setback, we have remained committed. We’ve organized, we’ve protested, and we’ve fought for the values that unite us: equality, justice, and the dignity of every individual. We’ve seen firsthand the power of coming together to demand change, and that’s why we’re not backing down.
Together, we’ve built a movement that stands strong in the face of adversity. We’ve supported one another, we’ve raised our voices, and we’ve made it clear: our fight for a better future for all people will not stop. As we look ahead, we remain more determined than ever to push for policies that empower, uplift, and protect the most vulnerable among us.
